This Magnolia is fully hardy and can withstand low temperatures (-15° to -20C°), but we recommend that you supply some shelter that can protect the emerging buds from dry, cold winds in the winter months. Magnolia ‘Betty’ is a stunning deciduous shrub with green, glossy oval-shaped leaves that turn various hues of copper in autumn. In spring, you will see an abundance of large, showy and fragrant blossoming flowers with narrow tepals, a deep fuchsia pink on the outside and white/light pink on the inside, softening the flower’s appearance.
